I was crawling through my cable tv when I found this movie The Good Lie. The title itself doesn’t catch me but Reese W’s presence does. It tells about family, specifically, a refugee family from Sudan who fought their way out of civil war before eventually won their ticket to USA. Watching this movie, I wonder how many Sudanese facing same problem.. or worse. As Mamere so insist in giving his own…

Yaiii…I just watched a WAR movie today! think it’s a big progress, eh? :p
Well actually I just caught up watching this movie while searching for a good quality or at least worth-watching program on tv. Need to look twice before I eventually watch it, tho’ hubs keep saying “It is a good movie!”. Sorry hubs, war is never in my book. Ah well, I watched it anyway. This movie gave me two reasons why I should be interested. First, it’s taken from the Japanese point of view & therefore, speaks Japanese. The other is because Clint Eastwood directed it. He’s a good actor & now a good director. Most of his movies are talking about human being, see through our humanity perspective. Which is nice.

where the wild things are
First of all, I never knew there was a child story this good. Where the wild things are based on a picture story book by Maurice Sendak. It’s about a child named Max, who’s lonely and feels whole world are avoiding him. He is however become less or more a rebel in his family. Where his sister Claire and his distraught mother are busy doing their own businesses. One day his mom bring her boyfriend home and that is when Max got outta control, end with a massive biting incident cause his mom to ground him and tell him to sleep without dinner.
