Michael Cera, through Scott, made a statement to further strengthen his image as a neo-geek idol. In this movie, Scott Pilgrim is a 23 years old who lives in the big city with his gay roommate, plays melody in a band called Sex-Bob-Omb. One day he cross-path with his dreamlove, Ramona Flowers (Mary Elizabeth Winstead). But to be able to win Ramona entirely, he has to defeat her seven evil ex-boyfriends.
